- The opening trailer for next season is disorienting.
Marvel has released the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 2 – and confirmed that the show will return on March 24 (North and South America) and March 25 (everywhere else).
Until today (January 27), we only knew that Daredevil: Born Again‘s sophomore outing would be released sometime in March. And, despite a misstep by Disney in late 2025 that appears to confirm it would debut on Disney+ on March 4, the TV series directed by Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will premiere three weeks later than we expected.
Look
As for the first trailer for the upcoming season, it’s a trailer based on sensory overload. In fact, whether due to the spectacular nature of its various clips, the tonal shifts, and/or the jarring use of the song and sounds that accompany the footage, the The Marvel Phase 6 TV show certainly leans towards the chaos factor that season 2 is sure to deliver.
Even though it’s only 70 seconds long, there are plenty of great moments included in the latest trailer for the live-action property starring Daredevil.
On the one hand, after the confirmation that Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones would be in born again In season 2, we see the superpowered private investigator get her hands dirty and make another prank in the direction of main character Matt Murdock. Jones should also feature prominently in the next installment of the show, with born again Season 2 will include some “cool surprises” surrounding Ritter’s fan-favorite performance.

On the other hand, we finally receive confirmation that Elden Henson is again as Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson. However, with the character dying in last season’s premiere and the fact that he’s sporting the floppy haircut he had on the Daredevil Netflix show, it looks like Foggy will only return for a few flashback sequences. So, it looks like those season 1 fan theories about Foggy still being alive might not be true after all.
Other notable moments include *deep breath* New York’s tyrannical mayor Wilson Fisk engaging in a boxing match, a first look at Matthew Lillard’s enigmatic Mister Charles, shots of Wilson Bethel/Bullseye enjoying a classic drink float at a diner, Daredevil sporting his iconic black suit while beating up some criminals, Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante task force roaming the streets, and Karen Page doing more undercover investigative work. So there’s a lot to look forward to!
