The royal family is said to be determined to get rid of the Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal for good, pushing him and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to start a new life abroad.
Andrew and his former partner could flee the UK to get out of sight amid growing pressure from royal circles.
The couple’s daughters are also forced to maintain the necessary distance from their parents, as they may be affected by their scandals.
Andrew, 65, is likely to leave the Royal Lodge within weeks, possibly before his 66th birthday on February 19.
Andrew and Ferguson have been sharing the 30-bedroom property for decades, even after their divorce.
“With Andrew preparing to leave Royal Lodge, there is a growing expectation within the palace that this should not simply be a change of direction within Britain,” a source said. Radar.
They added: “The view expressed is that a move abroad, for both Andrew and Sarah, could offer a real reset.”
The move will also help Beatrice ad Eugenie grow to its full potential in Britain. It will give the impression that the real sisters are also completely separate from them.
Andrew retired from public duties in 2019 following his association with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. Since then, he has largely disappeared from official royal life.
However, Andrew’s immediate plan is to move to Sandringham, with Marsh Farm likely to be his final base.
The property is a five-bedroom property on the estate which would offer greater privacy and is undergoing a major clean-up before he moves in.
