RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) and an anti-terrorism court on Saturday approved bail for 146 arrested workers of the banned TLP, who had been in custody following the Murree incident.
The arrested activists were detained in the jurisdictions of nine police stations after the Murree tragedy and had been detained in Adiala, Attock and Jhelum jails since their arrests.
The courts ordered each worker to submit Rs 100,000 in bail for their release. Following the court orders, the process of releasing the workers has begun.
