Federal Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Balochistan Corps Commander Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta on Sunday to inquire about the police personnel injured in the recent terror attacks in Balochistan.

Officials praised the high morale shown by the injured personnel, according to an official statement. “You faced the terrorist attacks like lions and thwarted them,” Naqvi said while addressing the wounded officers.

Chief Minister Bugti also praised their bravery and said, “I salute your bravery for foiling the conspiracy to create instability in Balochistan.” “You are our lions and the nation is with you,” he added.

In response, the injured personnel expressed their determination to continue the fight against terrorism. “After recovering, we will once again fight this menace,” an officer said. “Our spirits are high and our determination is firm,” said another.

“To eradicate the scourge of Fitna al-Hindustan, our lives and even the lives of our children are willing to be sacrificed,” said another wounded police officer.

The visit comes a day after 92 terrorists were killed as security forces battled a series of coordinated attacks in multiple locations in Balochistan. At least 18 civilians were martyred in the attacks, while 15 security personnel were martyred in combat.

In a statement issued on Saturday night after the day of attacks, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said: “Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists attempted to disturb the peace of Balochistan by carrying out multiple terrorist activities around Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar and Pasni.

Fitna al-Hindustan is a general term used by officials to refer to illegal Baloch terrorist groups, as the government claims they act as proxies for India, which wants to destabilize Pakistan through hybrid warfare.

The banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attacks in a social media post, describing the coordinated attack unleashed on Saturday as the second phase of “Operation Heroof”.
