Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Ishaq Dar on Wednesday highlighted Pakistan’s role as a founding member of the Commonwealth and reaffirmed its commitment to democracy, good governance, development and multilateral cooperation.
He made these remarks during his interaction with Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Botchway, according to a press release from the DPM’s Office.
Both leaders discussed ways to further strengthen collaboration in priority areas of mutual interest, particularly through greater cooperation within the Commonwealth.
