Is someone having a party they didn’t tell me about? I test a lot of the best cheap headphones and I just checked online to see that five of my favorite options are all marked down, including some of my favorites.

Case in point: Nothing Ear (a) for just $59 on Amazon in the US (and £70 in the UK). I bought a pair of these at launch in April 2024 and have been telling everyone ever since that they are great value for money. Well, apparently that ‘price’ is half of what I thought. Here’s our review of Nothing Ear (a), which I totally agree with.

However, these are far from the only cheap, great value buds on offer right now. For example, the JLab Go Pods ANC are just $24.99 on Amazon US (and £29.99 in the UK). These are generally the headphones we recommend to people looking to spend less than $40.
