LAHORE:
While the provincial capital waits calmly for Basant, the Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has predicted pleasant weather during the festival.
According to the authority, Lahore will remain dry from February 6 to 8, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures ranging between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius.
While rain and snowfall are forecast in northern areas, colder conditions may intensify in upper regions due to rainfall.
The PDMA has urged citizens to adopt precautionary measures, especially during kite flying, advising caution around electrical wires and rooftops, complete avoidance of metallic or chemical threads and use of helmets and neck protectors by motorcyclists.
