NYT Strands Today (Game #708): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game #708 are…
- CLUE
- LUGGAGE
- SECURITY
- PASSPORT
- PILOT
- CLUE
- SPANGRAM: AIRPORTS
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
After initially thinking we were looking for airlines and then after getting the spangram first, the AIRPORT names, I was relieved when it was simply airport related words.
Airport terminals are often described as hell, but I’d reserve that description for any branch of Build A Bear Workshop on a Saturday afternoon. There are many things I don’t like about them, but I found that arriving at flights four hours early relieves my tension and allows me to enjoy the thrill of jet-setting international travel and the unique availability of giant Toblerones.
Anyway, this quest presented minimal surprises, but I found it to be moving slowly. I hope your step was smoother.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Sunday, February 8, game #707)
- OLIVE
- CHERRY
- SHRIMP
- SPIN
- CELERY
- LACE
- SPANGRAM: cocktail garnish
