Queen Camilla celebrates her engagement anniversary during her visit to London Church

Queen Camilla entered St Bride’s Church in the City of London on Tuesday to mark a major milestone.

The Queen attended a celebration service marking 650 years since St Bride’s Guild received its Royal Confirmation.

During the visit, the Queen took time to greet guests, including Mark Bolland, who served as King Charles’ senior aide during his years as Prince of Wales in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Adding a personal note to the day, the appearance coincided with a quiet anniversary for the royal couple, 21 years since King Charles and Queen Camilla announced their engagement.

He shared a light-hearted moment while chatting about American politics and speaking with students whose studies have been supported through the guild’s scholarship program.

Down in the church crypt, he met Rozina Sabur, now national security editor, who explained that she had spent eight years covering American politics from Washington before assuming her current role.

The Queen commented that the job seemed “very interesting”, which caused laughter.

When Sabur responded that “it is never boring,” he repeated the phrase with a smile.
