Three forests in Murree, namely Ghoda Gali, PP-1 and Samli ranges, have been severely affected by devastating forest fires.

These fires, which have spread to 49 different areas, show no signs of abating and are intensifying, especially after dark.

The fire, now visible from miles away, has been wreaking havoc on the local landscape.

The flames have destroyed valuable timber, worth millions of rupees, leaving a significant financial cost to the area.

Local authorities and firefighting crews are struggling to contain the wildfires, which continue to increase in intensity, especially as night falls and winds intensify.
