The arrested suspects were allegedly planning attacks on sensitive locations in Karachi.

The Sindh Rangers and the Anti-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday arrested three “highly wanted” alleged facilitators linked to Fitna-e-Hindustan during a joint operation in Chakragoth area of Korangi, officials said.
During the operation, explosives and extremist material were recovered, they added.
According to a spokesperson of the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), the operation was carried out based on intelligence information in coordination with the CTD. The arrested suspects were identified as Yasir Arafat, Khuda Bakhsh and Zahid Hussain alias Barakzai.
The spokesperson said five kilograms of explosive material, 10 meters of raw rope, three detonators, one kilogram of ball bearings, 250 books containing extremist literature and a laptop were recovered from the possession of the suspects.

Authorities said the suspects were involved in facilitating a banned organization by radicalizing students at several colleges and universities and distributing extremist literature. The suspects had allegedly hidden explosive material at a secret location for use in planned terrorist activities targeting sensitive areas of Karachi.
The detainees, along with the recovered explosives and material, were handed over to the police for further legal action.
The Rangers spokesperson appealed to the public to assist in crime prevention by reporting suspicious activities or persons to the nearest Rangers checkpoint, the Rangers helpline on 1101 or the Rangers Madadgar WhatsApp number 0347-9001111, assuring that the identities of the reporters would be kept confidential.
