Karachi continues to be hit by cold weather as temperatures remain low, with a rain-bearing system expected to enter Pakistan between January 18 and 20.
The minimum temperature recorded today was 11°C, visibility dropped to 2.5 kilometers due to light fog and the weather is expected to remain cold and dry for the next 24 hours.
Northeasterly winds are expected to blow at speeds between 5 and 20 km/h, while maximum temperatures could reach 27°C. Yesterday the city recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8°C.
The Meteorological Department forecasts that a rain-bearing system is likely to enter Pakistan between January 18 and 20, bringing chances of light rain in Punjab along with cloudy conditions.
