An anti-terrorism court (ATC), headed by Justice Arshad Javed, on Tuesday approved post-arrest bail for six Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) workers accused of arson, vandalism and attacks on police.
Muhammad Umar, Saeed Ahmed, Saleem Shah, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Rehman Ali and Imtiaz Ali were granted bail.
The defense stated that the defendants were detained based on statements from the co-defendants.
He pleaded with the court to grant the benefit of bail to his clients as there was no evidence available against them.
After hearing the arguments, the court ordered his release on bail.
