It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S26 series won’t be a particularly big upgrade from its predecessors overall, with leaks pointing to the phones having similar designs and specifications to the Samsung Galaxy S25 line. But the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to be getting at least one massive update, and Samsung just teased it for the second time.
We’re talking about Privacy Display, a feature that would allow you to block part or all of the screen when viewed from the side, so that people can’t easily spy on what you’re seeing.

As you can see, phones with this feature will have a switch that can hide the entire screen so that no one sees it from the front, so if, like in this video, you’re reading a spicy story on the train, you can do so without attracting unwanted attention.
The video ends by saying that this feature will arrive on February 25, which is when we expect the Galaxy S26 series to launch, but leaks so far suggest it will be exclusive to the Ultra model.
Customizable privacy
In any case, while this video shows only a button to clear the entire screen, Privacy Display is probably smarter than that.
For one thing, previous teasers from the company suggested you could use it to delete specific messages, for example, and now we’ve also seen leaked screenshots showing the various Privacy Screen options and toggles.

You can also set it to activate when you’re in public and toggle it to specifically hide the screen lock, images, notifications, and picture-in-picture.
If these images are accurate, it seems like this tool could be quite customizable and extremely useful; However, we would take these screenshots with a pinch of salt, as there are several typos and the text is inconsistent as to whether to capitalize Privacy Screen, and we sometimes call it Private Screen.
Now, this could simply be an early version of the software whose language has not yet been polished, but it could also be fake; We should find out soon, as February 25 is only a week away.
