- Yield capture is also scheduled to begin in April.
Machine Games has reportedly put out a casting call for an unannounced project and it looks like it could be attached to the studio’s next project. lobostein game.
That’s according to MP1st, which claims to have discovered the project’s codename. or casting code name, ‘Valkyrie’. Details also include two developers who have previously worked on several Machine Games titles, acting director Tom Keegan and casting director Emily Schweber.
Keegan recently helped cast the studio’s newest game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Schweber has served in previous lobostein games.
The casting is looking for someone to play a character named Sofiya, which according to MP1st could be a reference to Zofia Blazkowicz, the mother of lobostein protagonist William “BJ” Blazkowicz.
Sofiya is stated to be a “Ukrainian orphan aged between 8 and 11 who, along with her adopted dog Ralph, is said to form a bond with William and accompany him on his travels.”
There is also a description of the character’s background, which reads: “Although initially suspicious and traumatized by the war, she flourishes under the care of the resistance (possibly referring to the Kreisau Circle) as a strong-willed survivor.”
It seems like an adult Sofiya could be the protagonist of this story, or at least a co-star if BJ returns.
Performance capture is also scheduled to begin in April, “with additional filming dates planned for later in 2026 and extending into 2027,” suggesting the project is in full production.
Machine Games has not formally announced that it is working on wolf 3but rumors reported earlier this year were later corroborated by Kotaku, which said “it’s true from our own sources.”
