Recently, the Academy Award-winning director sat down with TV host Stephen Colbert for a conversation where he was asked to share his guilty pleasure.
The 61-year-old comedian emphasized that “I have been told that you are a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise.”
In response, Nolan confidently said that he doesn’t feel guilty admitting that he’s a fan of Fast and Furious as he believes “it’s a tremendous action franchise.”
During the conversation, the 55-year-old British-American filmmaker was stunned to learn that Stephen had never seen any of Fast’s films.
Christopher added: “I watch those movies all the time, I love them. I’m surprised you’ve never seen one of them. You don’t have to watch them all at once.”
While encouraging Colbert to watch the films, he explained, “Only in the later ones did a very specific arc of mythology develop.”
Nolan confessed that he personally likes the third part of the film Derived from Tokyo.
