Meghan Markle’s £14 bookmark breaks the internet

The Duchess of Sussex’s latest literary accessory disappeared from virtual shelves in less than 24 hours, marking the second time in a month that one of her bookmarks has sold out.

Under her As Ever lifestyle label, Meghan unveiled a new design emblazoned with the words ‘Hold That Thought’, priced at £14.83 and fans did just that before clicking ‘buy’.

The slim page headline arrived alongside select packages themed around lazy afternoons and cozy evenings.

While the standalone piece is no longer available for now, shoppers can still purchase it as part of gift sets ranging from £35.60 to £129.05.

The rapid sale follows January’s debut design, which bore the handwritten phrase “I fell asleep here” and was made in partnership with a women-run workshop in the New Forest.

That first drop quickly disappeared as well, although once deliveries arrived, not everyone was impressed.

Social media critics wasted no time reviewing the product, with some questioning its quality after a video circulated that appeared to show it popping out of a page.

Fans praised the UK’s craftsmanship and embraced the new version without hesitation, applauding the duchess’s talent for turning a simple reading tool into a conversation piece.
