In Peshawar, a ban on opening CNG stations under Section 144 has been imposed due to a decline in Sui gas pressure, as the stations will remain closed until January 19.

According to a notification from Peshawar deputy commissioner, domestic consumers are facing difficulties due to reduction in gas pressure.

To ensure adequate supply of gas to homes, CNG stations have been banned in the city.

Under Section 144, opening of CNG stations will be prohibited and any violation will lead to legal action.

As a result of the closure of CNG stations, rickshaw drivers have started using gas cylinders, leading to an increase in fare prices.

Additionally, the number of CNG-powered vehicles on the roads has decreased due to lockdowns.
