- DJI officially advances the launch of a new drone, coming soon
- According to the teaser video, it is likely to be the rumored DJI Avata 360.
- A Pro version of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has also been leaked
DJI has confirmed that the launch of another drone is imminent and based on the video included in the launch trailer, it looks like it will be the rumored DJI Avata 360, while leaks about DJI’s upcoming vlogging camera have taken another turn.
The trailer for the drone comes directly from the @DJIGlobal account on X, meaning we’re hopeful for a global launch of the upcoming drone. Even though new DJI products are now banned in the US, DJI may have been able to obtain regulatory approval before the ban went into effect in December.

And given the shots in the teaser video, including a classic shot of a ‘small planet’, it’s almost certainly a drone with 360-degree imaging capabilities, most likely the rumored DJI Avata 360, although it’s not mentioned by name.
The 360-degree drone has been leaked widely over the past few weeks and is rumored to be arriving With a single lens mode too, that should help it stand out from its main rival, the Antigravity A1.
Just a few days ago, Notebookcheck reported on hands-on images of the DJI Avata 360 appearing online, so it looks like the launch is very close. DJI hasn’t given us a date or time, but we should get an official reveal any day now.
The pocket goes professional
Meanwhile, there are even more leaks about the DJI Osmo Pocket vlogging camera. Veteran Forecaster Igor Bogdanov has posted some new photos that supposedly show off the device and give us our first look at a possible Pro model.
Most previous leaks about this camera have shown a device very similar to the current DJI Osmo Pocket 3 in terms of design, albeit with a couple of extra console buttons. However, this new Pro leak shows the addition of an additional camera on top, along with a protective hood.

While previous rumors had talked about a dual-camera setup, the most recent leaks only mentioned a standard model. It would seem that when this next generation of DJI’s pocket vlogging camera comes out, there will be two models to choose from, with the Pro edition certainly coming with a higher price tag.
Like the DJI Avata 360, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 may have been registered just in time to avoid being banned in the US. As soon as DJI makes any of these products official, we’ll of course let you know.
