Buckingham Palace shares updated information amid mystery of King Charles’ US tour

There appears to be some tension brewing between the Palace and Downing Street as major plans have been put on hold due to a major conflict.

While the situation in the world does not seem suitable for state visits, sources have shared information about a deeper problem that has been brewing between the two crucial entities in the United Kingdom.

The king and Queen Camilla were reported to be anticipated to travel to the United States at the end of the month for a three-day visit to coincide with the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

However, an American source has revealed to daily mail that not all the plans and details of the trip have been formalized and time is running out.

“It is getting too late to formalize these details. Apart from a day 1 in Washington and a day 2 in New York, it does not appear that any schedule has been set yet,” the US source said.

Additionally, the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor last month also “jeopardized” the visit.

It had already been a scaled-down version of Queen Elizabeth II’s 1976 bicentenary tour. All the details were considering the monarch’s health while he undergoes cancer treatment.

Therefore, Palace aides were carefully drawing up the schedule. According to a Palace source, “A possible visit at the end of spring has been planned and prepared, but the Government has the final say.”

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: “No state visits have been confirmed and all state visits are being undertaken on government advice.”

Meanwhile, a Downing Street source maintained that “this is a Buckingham Palace matter.”

There seems to be a certain contradiction since the Government approves the State Visit and only then does the Palace begin preparations. It remains to be seen how things develop as the international community turns its attention to the escalation of the US conflict with Iran.
