ISLAMABAD:

Senator Faisal Vawda on Thursday said that after January 20, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will adopt a conciliatory tone, while the government will maintain a rigid stance in the negotiations.

In a private television programme, the former federal minister said that if Imran Khan is convicted, the PTI will criticize the government. He also highlighted the need to end the use of the “religious card” in politics.

Senator Vawda maintained that Bushra Bibi is currently overseeing the internal affairs of the PTI.

He termed the claims of a meeting between PTI’s Ali Amin Gandapur and the army chief as baseless.

Vawda said he believed negotiations would begin after January 20.
