Chris Hemsworth fans are delighted. Extraction 3 It has finally received a promising update after years of silence.
The action-packed film series stars the 42-year-old Australian actor as Tyler Rake, a fearless black market mercenary assigned the deadliest extraction missions.
After the success of the first two films, a third sequel was confirmed at Netflix’s Tudum 2023 event.
After two years of complete silence, the franchise has received an exciting update. According to recent production listings, principal photography on Extraction 3 will begin in June 2026.
The film is expected to film in October. The previous two films were filmed in various locations, including Thailand, Prague and India.
Therefore, the production of the third installment is based in Sydney, Australia, which is also Hemsworth’s home country.
Some of the filming will also reportedly take place in some parts of Europe.
Directed by Sam Hargrave, the action-packed film features Chris alongside Sam and Golshifteh Farahani.
Regarding work, the thor actor recently appeared in a film Crime 101 along with Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro and Halle Berry.
He is set to play Thor in Avengers: Judgment Day, Its launch is scheduled for December 18.
