PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan has said that if the decisions had been taken in accordance with justice, former Prime Minister Imran Khan would have been released by now.
“His family is outside [Adiala Jail, where Imran is detained]; allow them and the lawyers to meet with him,” Gohar said while speaking to reporters outside the prison on Tuesday.
Gohar said that despite their demands, the government has not submitted its political statement on the energy crisis and its economic policy. “They’ve raised oil prices and ended net metering. For the love of God, show some consideration,” he said.
