Professional wrestling star Shotzi Blackheart said Wednesday that her brother Dean was found after she and her family became concerned for his safety in California.
Shotzi, whose real name is Ashley Alfaro, wrote on social media that her brother went missing after being involved in a car accident in the San Francisco area. She said at the time that he was receiving dialysis treatments and may have been “confused or disoriented.”

“They have found my brother and are taking him to the hospital,” he wrote in X.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who shared the post, reached out and helped spread the word. The support and kindness of so many people really means a lot to our family. Thank you all so much.”

Shotzi was born in Santa Clara County, California, and embarked on a professional wrestling journey that began in Oakland, California, and took her to the heights of WWE. He left WWE last year and hit the independent circuit, where he found renewed popularity.
She made her debut with Major League Wrestling (MLW) in June 2025, where she became the company’s Women’s Featherweight World Champion.
Earlier Tuesday, Sports Illustrated reported that he re-signed with MLW.

“I’ve been to every MLW taping since June,” he told the outlet. “They were one of the first companies to reach out to me when my WWE contract ended, and it has become my favorite creative field. It’s a company that really believes in me.”
