Meghan Markle is back in the headlines for good reason. The loving mother of Archie and Lilibet earned praise for a meaningful activity with special children.
On March 12, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise visit to patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
First, Meghan took part in a watercolor painting session with the young patients in the Creative Oasis area of the hospital. Then he met bedridden children.
Their visit was part of CHLA’s month-long Make March Matter campaign.
Hospital officials said: “Make March Matter is an annual fundraising campaign for CHLA that unites celebrities, businesses and the broader community in support of their mission to create hope and build healthier futures.
“The funds raised will help ensure the hospital can provide sick and seriously injured children with the highest quality care, research and innovation that has been done at CHLA every day for the past 125 years.”
In the newly released photos, Meghan was seen wearing a black mask while doing activities with children.
The Duchess of Sussex received admiration from her fans, with one of them referring to her as “princess.”
Another wrote: “This warms my heart. I admire Meghan so much because she always takes the time to support numerous causes, especially women and children. She deserves nothing but the best in life. I’m sure she made those children feel special.”
