Ready to relax after another busy week at work? If so, you’ll want to watch something fun at home.
As always, the world’s best streaming services come with gifts in the form of new movies and shows to watch, and this week’s lineup is fantastic. In fact, since the return of Netflix’s popular live-action adaptation of one piece and the official streaming debut on Zootopia 2Until the biggest awards night of the year at the Oscars, there’s a lot to get through before Monday arrives. Enjoy! — Tom Power, Senior Entertainment Reporter
Zootopia 2 (Disney+)
Look
Well, if it isn’t the highest-grossing Hollywood animated film ever made. Zootopia 2 It broke box office records like it was breaking eggs for an omelette, and now it’s finally Disney+’s time to shine, with unlikely buddy cop duo Judy and Nick returning to tackle the mystery of a snake spotted in town for the first time in years.

Frankly, it still bothers me that the movie isn’t called DostopiaBut when the moral message of a Disney movie is this good, we can’t have it all. Plus, Ke Huy Quan is still the people’s prince and his involvement in the movies always means you’ll have a good time. — Jasmine Valentine, entertainment reporter
One Piece Season 2 (Netflix)
Look
It’s time to set sail one piece season 2 when Netflix’s hit live-action adaptation returns. It has been a big surprise for anime fans who have been disappointed by similar projects (*cough* bebop cowboy and Avatar: The Last Airbender *cough*). Thankfully, one piece He has done much better.
Its second season is also a binge-worthy affair. With this latest installment covering the Alabast arc, it’s bigger and better than ever, with great fight scenes, laugh-out-loud moments, and high stakes. There will also be many more where that came from, since one piece Season 3 is already in development. — Lucy Buglass, Senior Entertainment Writer
Scarpetta (main video)
Look
Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis lead the cast of Prime Video’s intriguing new crime show Scarpetta. Based on the book series by Patricia Cornwell, it follows brilliant forensic pathologist Dr. Kay Scarpetta (Kidman) as she unravels mysteries and solves crimes in Florida, Virginia and South Carolina.
The series also addresses Scarpetta’s relationship with her older sister, her niece, and other key figures in her life. With a strong cast attached, I can see this being another hit for Amazon, especially since Cornwell already has a dedicated fan base waiting to tune in. pound
The Madison (Paramount+)
What would happen if I told you that? the madison Is it ironically the best Taylor Sheridan show created yet? is not a yellow stone spinoff by any stretch, but you can still expect lashings of vulnerable family drama against the most stunning backdrop of the Montana mountains.
Yeah landman and virgin river If I had a TV baby for Paramount+, this would be it. Indeed, the Clyburn family (led by Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell) seeks to leave their luxurious life in New York City behind for the rustic hills of Montana after a family tragedy pushes them over the edge.
It’s almost annoying how well Taylor Sheridan can write female characters, but it’s Pfeiffer who reminds us why she should be in absolutely everything. Before you watch it, get all the information on what to expect from the madison. — joint venture
Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare (HBO Max)
British documentary filmmaker James Jones returns with Fukushima: a nuclear nightmare, giving us insight into the 2011 nuclear plant incident. He previously made Chernobyl: The Lost Tapes for HBO Max, which followed the harrowing dramatization of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, directed by the last of us showrunner Craig Mazin.
You can be sure, then, that this new documentary will treat the incident with the sensitivity it deserves. Featuring interviews with government advisors, power plant engineers, consultants, journalists and emergency workers, his in-depth analysis of what happened will be an incredibly emotional watch. — pound
Virgin River season 7 (Netflix)
Look
virgin river Season 7 is without a doubt one of the must-see Netflix events of the year (in my opinion, anyway), but just because Mel and Jack are finally married doesn’t mean the small-town drama will suddenly stop.
The season 6 finale was a total surprise, leaving us with five (!) huge cliffhangers that need immediate answers. Luckily, they are all resolved, but three new problems take their place in the season finale. Oh, and also, a dream honeymoon is included. virgin river season 8 when? — joint venture
The Oscars 2026
Look
Man, this year’s Academy Awards ceremony really surprised us, huh? The biggest, splashiest night on the entertainment calendar is here, and I’m expecting a surprise or two in some of the most notable categories.
Granted, some things are a sure bet (for one thing, Jessie Buckley won Best Actress), but could we see a big surprise for other gongs among the 2026 Oscar nominees? It would be a great advance for the books if Kpop Demon Hunters it didn’t win Best Animated Feature or if, say, F1 either Bugonia surprised everyone by winning Best Picture.
Whatever happens, you’ll be able to stream it live on ABC and Hulu in the US, ITV1 in the UK, and 7Plus in Australia. Live somewhere else? Find out where to watch the 2026 Oscars where you live.
