According to the Play Store page, you won’t just be returning to the Battle Royale modes, you’ll get the full experience. This includes lego fortnite, Fortnite OG, Festivaland all the same creator-made multiplayer worlds that can be accessed through Fortnite on PC or consoles.
It also looks like mobile players will jump right into the new Chapter 7 Season 2 Showdown season.
Unfortunately, they’ll also be exposed to the updated higher V-Bucks prices: Starting March 19, a standard 1,000 V-Bucks package will only get you 800 V-Bucks for the same price.

My first “properly” paid writing job was covering fortnite (and a few other Battle Royales) and while I’ve fallen considerably since that time of playing too many hours a day, I do get back into gaming from time to time, and I imagine I’ll be tempted to go back to playing a lot more if it’s as convenient as pressing an app icon on my Z Fold 7 or S26 Ultra.
However, the question remains as to when Epic Games’ battle royale will return in its entirety to Apple’s App Store for iPhone users. It’s available to people in the US, and the Epic Games Store marketplace can be accessed from iPhones in the EU, but many regions (including the UK) can’t access the game except via cloud streaming. Hopefully, this is a sign that it could change soon.
