ISLAMABAD:
Mahmood Khan Achakzai, leader of an alliance of opposition parties, condemned the conviction of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in a corruption case and announced that they will go to all forums against the accountability court order.
Addressing the media after a meeting with Awaam Pakistan Party leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the federal capital, Achakzai said the court verdict in the £190 million case was condemnable.
“The founder of the PTI [Imran Khan] He can leave prison today by assuring the government that it will do nothing against him. However, we do not need that freedom. We will win this war thanks to public support,” said the politician.
