Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who signed their first deal with Netflix in 2020, had a bitter falling out with the streaming giant, new reports have claimed.
He Variety The report published Tuesday had cited “six well-placed sources” that Sussex’s deal at the company was “done” and that executives were “frustrated” by the “repackaged” material Harry and Meghan had been using.

However, Netflix executive Bela Bajaria strongly refuted claims that there was any bad blood between the company and the Sussexes.
While speaking at the Next event on Netflix on Wednesday, Bela addressed that report and urged everyone to “do some fact-checking.”
“Don’t believe what you read,” the content director said. “Maybe we should all do a little fact-checking.”
He added: “But here’s the thing: We still have a relationship with them. We have movies in development with them. We had an incredible conversation with them. They have things in development in the television and film space.”
The executive explained that “agreements come and go all the time” at the streaming giant and there are many agreements that are not renewed. Therefore, it was ruled out as a minor problem.
“These don’t get as much press for obvious reasons,” he said. “So, there’s no juicy story there.”
