It’s hard to find 32-inch TVs that support 4K resolution (it’s common in monitors, but not TVs), so I was pleased to see that German audiovisual company Loewe (which recently started selling in the US and Europe) was showing off a small but premium new line of TVs at ISE 2026.
The Vega series is available in 32- and 43-inch varieties, and they share a number of visual features with Loewe’s top-tier Stellar TV line, with a similar stand and a brushed aluminum-fronted sound bar beneath the screen.

Despite those concessions, the new line-up is far from entry-level, with the 32-inch option priced at £1,650, and the 43-inch model priced at an equally hefty £1,900.
While watching the demo playback of a space scene, I was immediately impressed by the deep black tones being conveyed, while a distinct lack of brightness from the super-bright lights of spaceships traveling through the galaxy made me genuinely wonder if it was really an LCD panel I was standing in front of.
The key to this amazing contrast performance is the Vega’s full-array direct LED backlighting (many TVs of this size use) with an impressively dense grid of 390 local dimming zones on the 43-inch model (the 32-inch Vega, meanwhile, boasts a more than respectable 260 dimming zones).
While I wasn’t able to view high frame rate content during the demo, the larger Vega’s LCD panel supports 4K 120Hz along with a variable refresh rate from its two HDMI 2.1 ports; However, the 32-inch only hits 60Hz in 4K, so it’s not that much of a gaming powerhouse.
Dolby Vision IQ HDR that adapts based on ambient lighting is supported, along with HDR10 and HLG.
Located behind a specially designed aluminum speaker grill below the screen, there is an integrated Dolby Atmos sound bar with 60 watts of Class D amplification, which also impressed me with notable separation and a surprising amount of bass power.
While there is the option to connect your own sound system via HDMI eARC connectivity, the built-in system appears to be more than capable for regular viewing and a big plus for a TV aimed at rooms where space may be limited.
The Vega line runs on Loewe OS, which is a modified version of Hisense’s VIDAA platform, continuing Loewe’s move away from Samsung’s Tizen operating system. While in my experience VIDAA is a simple, snappy interface that offers access to all the key streaming services, its library of available apps beyond this often feels lightweight compared to other stores, meaning you may find yourself relying on a streaming box for more specific things.
There is also Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, Miracast, DLNA and Matter connectivity.
High-quality panel technology means the TV is noticeably thicker than your average small LCD TV, while the super-sleek aluminum frame, smooth swivel table stand and overall weight underline its luxurious “Made in Germany” feel.
Aesthetically, my only personal complaint is the one I have with all current Loewe TVs: the brand label that appears on the right side of the screen, a perhaps cool design insignia, but which I find to be a distraction from what’s happening on the screen.
As mentioned, the new Vega line doesn’t have much premium competition when it comes to these types of screen sizes in the 4K resolution range, and Samsung’s Q8F QLED is likely to be its main rival in the 32-inch category. However, the South Korean brand’s effort lacks local attenuation, so Loewe has an advantage.
The competition ramps up a bit by moving up to 43 inches, with Samsung’s QN90F Mini LED boasting a faster refresh rate at 165Hz, while the fantastic LG C5 OLED TV offers even better contrast thanks to its self-emissive panel.
However, it’s still nice to see Loewe offering another premium option in this kind of size – there are tons of people who care a lot about quality and don’t have the space or inclination to purchase a larger screen.
