ISLAMABAD:
Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) chairperson Senator Dr Rubina Khalid on Thursday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed issues related to the programme.
During the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid briefed the Prime Minister on the overall performance and current operations of the BISP. He also briefed him on the progress in distributing the Ramadan relief package among deserving beneficiaries, according to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s House.
A day earlier, the prime minister ordered that the disbursement of the program be done through digital ‘Social Protection Wallets’.
