a new crimson desert The patch has been rolled out to all platforms, including numerous bug fixes, performance improvements, UI updates, and stability fixes, and Pearl Abyss has also promised support for Intel GPUs.

Boss encounters were one of the biggest hurdles for critics, and that was certainly the case for me. Bosses often left players little room to retaliate against their near-constant attacks, even after using cooldown tools.
Some of the patch notes highlight changes such as reducing the “health and attack of specific enemies and bosses” and “adjusting certain attack patterns for Kearush the Slayer,” a boss that has notoriously left most players frustrated.
More adjustments have been made to inventory management by adding camp storage, meaning the game should flow much smoother and with less tedious looting.
Perhaps most importantly, however, Pearl Abyss’ commitment to supporting the Intel Arc GPU is a great sign that it is not resting on its laurels and has apologized for its misunderstanding in the FAQ.
“We are currently working on compatibility and optimization support so that Crimson Desert can also be enjoyed on Intel Arc GPU systems,” Pearl Abyss said on X. “We apologize for any confusion our FAQ write-up several hours ago regarding gameplay on Intel Arc GPU may have caused.”
Many have also argued that Arc GPU support should have been available from day one (which I agree with), but it’s good to see that the development team isn’t abandoning Intel hardware after initial fears that this might be the case.
It is incredible to see the speed of implementation of the new Pearl Abyss patches and unlike what many players expect; Nowadays, game studios can take months to deliver bug fixes and other vital improvements. Hopefully, Pearl Abyss will continue to reach this high bar.
