NYT Strands Today (Game #751): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 751 are…
- TUNNEL
- NEAR
- OBSTACLE
- RING
- WALL
- BARRICADE
- SPANGRAM: OBSTACLE COURSE
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
Today’s topic reminds me of children’s storybooks. Let’s go bear hunting by Michael Rosen, with its repeated refrain of “we can’t go over it, we can’t go under it, oh no! We have to go through it!”
In truth, it wasn’t that far off, as I realized after finding OBSTACLE and COURSE separately and then putting them together for the huge curly slide of a spangram today.
In the UK we have a popular event called Tough Mudder, which is basically people climbing on things before climbing through mud. I did it once, but it’s a young person’s game, so I decided to spend my free time looking up words.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Monday, March 23, Game #750)
- BREAK
- CRACK
- SLIVER
- RUPTURE
- FRACTURE
- SPANGRAM: BREAKDOWN
