Meghan Markle had announced earlier this month that Netflix is no longer a part of As Ever, just 11 months after its launch.
There is a lot of speculation about what’s next for the Duchess of Sussex in Hollywood, as the deal with the streaming giant was arguably the most lucrative offer they made after leaving the royal family in 2020.
Although, a Suits Meghan’s co-star and close friend hinted that Prince Harry is ready to return to his roots as an actress in Hollywood.
Actor Eric Roberts, who played shady billionaire Charles Forstman in the legal drama, said daily mail that Meghan “will be back.”
Meanwhile, Eric’s casting director’s wife, Eliza, noted that “it’s time” that Meghan “needs to get back to work.”
He added: “I feel like his whole family will support him and she is amazing.”
“I think he should come back. I think he will come back,” Eric insisted. “And I think she’s going to be fantastic and blow everyone’s mind.”
Regarding Meghan’s role in SuitsEliza said it was “complicated” because of the royal family and her role was “very sexy.”
However, he noted that the downgrade of the Netflix deal is not a setback for Meghan, as she is a “star and is still a “young woman who needs to act.”
“From the moment you see her, she has star quality. It doesn’t matter. It was always going to happen,” the casting director said.
“She worked so hard to get there. That was too much,” he continued. “Women don’t quit their jobs to get married anymore. I understand the intent, and she thought she would be satisfied with doing good deeds in the world. But she needs to act.”
