YouTuber Ducky Bhai asks court to remove his name from the PNIL list

YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has filed a petition seeking removal of his name from the PNIL list.

The petition was heard by judicial magistrate Naeem Wattoo at Lahore district courts.

The court sought a report from the National Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and adjourned the hearing till March 26.

According to the petition filed through his lawyer, Usman Latif Advocate, Saadur Rehman argued that his name was illegally included in the PNIL list.

The petition further claimed that the NCCIA did not issue any notice before adding his name to the list.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) granted bail to former additional director Sarfraz Chaudhry and co-accused Shoaib Riaz and Salman Aziz in an alleged bribery case linked to Ducky Bhai’s wife.

Justice Abher Gul Khan issued a six-page detailed verdict, ordering the release of the accused on sureties of Rs 100,000 each.

According to the complainant, Sarfraz Chaudhry allegedly received a bribe of Rs 500,000. However, the court observed that the available record does not establish that Chaudhry directly received any amount from the complainant.

Earlier, YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala had approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking permission to travel abroad.

Both social media personalities are named in cybercrime and other cases and are currently subject to travel restrictions. They have filed separate petitions calling for the removal of the international travel ban.

According to court documents, the petitions were filed through lawyers Barrister Raja Qadeer Janjua and Ahad Khokhar. The petitioners maintain that their inclusion on the no-travel list is unjustified and has negatively affected their professional activities.

The petitions name the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Secretary of the Interior and other relevant authorities as respondents. The court has been asked to issue immediate orders to remove their names from the restricted travel list.

Hearings on the petitions are expected soon at the IHC, after which it will be determined whether the two social media personalities will be allowed to travel abroad.
