The investment environment is improving and investor confidence is gaining strength in Pakistan thanks to the support of SIFC, Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.
In the first eight months of the current fiscal year, the profits and dividends of foreign investors reached 1.73 billion U.S. dollars, 10.52 percent more than last year.
According to Finance Minister’s advisor Khurram Schehzad, an independent survey indicates that the confidence of foreign investors operating in Pakistan has increased. He mentioned that around 60% of investors considered Pakistan as a suitable place to invest two years ago and this figure has now increased to 75%.
