Total weekly flights to the UK will increase to seven, with plans for further expansion
LAHORE:
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced that it will resume direct flights to London from March 29 from Islamabad and March 30 from Lahore.
Initially, PIA will operate four weekly flights, three from Islamabad and one from Lahore, using Boeing 777 aircraft.
The PIA spokesperson said the flights would land at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4, adding that the airline has a history of more than 70 years on the London route, which was one of its first international destinations.
With the resumption, total weekly flights to the UK will increase to seven, with plans for further expansion.
