AJ McLean is a friend Britney Spears can lean on during her difficult times amid ongoing legal issues following her DUI arrest.
The Backstreet Boys member, 48, spoke out in support of Spears during the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, revealing that they are also neighbors.
“We see each other from time to time,” McLean said, adding, “we live in the same neighborhood in the same area.”
The singer, who was nominated for the on-screen favorite category at the awards, noted that he “always gives[s] her a hug and check[s] about her” every time he meets the pop icon, in a conversation with Page six.
