NYT Strands Today (Game #755): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 755 are…
- TEXT
- MISSIVE
- LETTER
- MEMORANDUM
- POSTCARD
- SPANGRAM: CORRESPONDENCE
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
It took me a while to get started today, which is why I classify this game as difficult.
After detecting EMAIL and understanding the topic, I managed to perform a search that contained both modern and traditional CORRESPONDENCE formats.
Personally, I’m a big fan of the POSTCARD, which in many ways is a precursor to the limited space that many social media communications allow.
One of the joys of shopping in second-hand shops in the UK, where postcards were an important element of holidaying in the pre-digital age, is discovering an old postcard sent to a neighbour, which will inevitably describe the weather and a description of a minor injury that has occurred to the sender. Postcard from the Past is a good podcast and website on the topic.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday, March 27, Game #754)
- PERFECT
- EXACT
- APPROPRIATE
- IDEAL
- DECOROUS
- APPROPRIATE
- SPANGRAM: CUSTOMIZED
