As someone who is always “a little hungry,” this search could have been anything from French fries to fruit salad to a Turkish feast.
Instead, we looked for foods related to our feathered friends. Discovering the spangram early in the game helped alleviate my initial confusion after first encountering BUGS and SUET, both items not on my snack menu.
I managed to navigate the board fairly easily, struggling only with the NECTAR and SEED combination, and was also excited to spy a rare eight-letter word that doesn’t belong in the game.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Saturday, March 28, game #755)
- TEXT
- MISSIVE
- LETTER
- MEMORANDUM
- POSTCARD
- SPANGRAM: CORRESPONDENCE
