Lola Tung remembers some “really special” moments she spent with the new heartthrob in town, Hudson Williams.
Back in February The summer I became pretty and the Heated rivalry The stars attended the Gold House Lunar New Year celebration in New York City.
They were seen dancing together on the dance floor at the event, which sent their fans into a frenzy. Their fans are quick to ship both actors after the interaction.
And now the 23-year-old model and actress is sharing how the two ended up on the dance floor.
“Well, I think there’s something really special about… because I met Hudson, and then I met Yerin Ha too at that party, and it feels like when you have a similar experience, where… I mean, they’re having crazy experiences right now,” he said.
“I mean, Hudson’s experience is like, I can’t even imagine that… but it’s kind of like, almost instantly you have this connection of, ‘Hey, are you okay?'” she added of how their instant friendship began. “Like, ‘How are you feeling? Are you tired, do you need anything? Do you just want to dance and have a good time?’ Because sometimes it’s hard to do that.”
“And with Hudson I also thought: ‘I want to dance, do you want to dance?’ And he said, ‘Yes, let’s dance!’” said the actress, who played Isabel “Belly” Conklin in the hit Amazon Prime Video series. “But I appreciate that he said, ‘Let’s have a good time. Let’s have a moment.'”
“Even though, you know, it’s online and people take out their phones and stuff, it’s like we’re having a good time, you know? And we’re like, ‘Everyone dance with us, come on!'” she said. Variety during a recent interview for his new film Forbidden Fruits.
Interestingly, at the event, Lola reunited with her on-screen brother, Sean Kaufman, from The summer I became pretty.
