Hilaria Baldwin has shared that her nine-year-old son Leo was in a terrifying accident during a family beach getaway and ended up in hospital with a cut above his eyebrow that required medical attention.
The wellness influencer posted a carousel of photos to Instagram on Monday, including snaps of Leo lying in a hospital bed with his forehead examined, sitting in a wheelchair, and then showing off his bandaged wound with the stamina only a nine-year-old can muster.
“Warning: Leo cut his forehead open and we were well cared for at the hospital. Very grateful for the kindness and care,” she wrote in her caption.

He was quick to assure his followers that the rest of the trip had been much more peaceful.
“Other than that, we’ve been at the beach, together, practicing walking as… created memories. I missed them so much it hurt.”
The post also included videos of the family enjoying time by the water, including one of her husband Alec, 67, swimming in the ocean.
The getaway came after Hilaria, 42, had been on a work trip since March 8, during which she openly spoke about how much she missed her family.
“My heart hurts because I leave all my babies at home,” she wrote at the time.
“My children asked me how many hugs and kisses would be enough: I told them that there is no number that will keep us from missing and hurting for each other every day.”
Hilaria and Alec share seven children, daughter Carmen, 12, sons Rafael, 10, Leo, Romeo, 7, and Eduardo, 5, and daughters María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 3.
Leo’s visit to the hospital aside, it seems the reunion was everything she hoped for.
