World leaders praise Pakistan’s peace role

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan’s leadership has received international recognition for its role in facilitating peace efforts in the Middle East, particularly in promoting US President Donald Trump’s 15-point plan for regional stability.

Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, also welcomed Islamabad’s efforts, describing them as a “friendly and brotherly initiative to stop US-Israeli aggression against Iran and restore peace and stability in the region.” He added that more details about the conversations will be shared in subsequent posts.

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reaffirmed strong bilateral ties with Pakistan during a phone call with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Turkish Foreign Minister expressed his “appreciation for the hospitality” extended during his recent visit to Pakistan on the occasion of the meeting of four foreign ministers held in Islamabad.
