NYT Strands Today (Game #760): The Answers
The answers to today’s 760th Strands game are…
- AGENT
- BETTOR
- JOCKEY
- COUNSELOR
- BOOKMAKER
- COACH
- SPANGRAM: HORSE RACING
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 2 tracks
The first thing I thought about today’s topic was something related to music or athletics. Finding nothing that matched and coming up with a lot of non-game words, I took a hint.
Unfortunately, the AGENT was no help at all and, confused as to how to progress, I used a second clue. BETTOR made me think about the game and the penny finally dropped.
As the son of a man who spent every waking hour studying HORSE RACING form guides, I possibly should have looked at this topic a little quicker, but I have to say that the whole sitting on animals thing seems a little ridiculous to me. I realize this may be a specific opinion, but to me it seems like something humans should have evolved to not need to do anymore.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Wednesday, April 1, Game #759)
- DON’T WORRY
- IN SILENCE
- SILENT
- SILENT
- INAUDIBLE
- SPANGRAM: SHHHHHHHHHHHH
