Longtime friends and co-stars Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx have proven their strong bond by supporting each other through difficult times.
While talking with PEOPLE magazine, Back in action Director Seth Gordon revealed that Diaz, 52, and Foxx, 57, helped each other during filming.
Díaz returned to acting after more than ten years, while Foxx had a medical emergency during production in April 2023.
Taking into account the friendship of both stars, the 48-year-old filmmaker shared, “They took turns supporting each other in a very deep way.”
“Anyone who was on set will tell you that [Jamie] He was the greatest animator and exaggerator of [Diaz] and really for everyone involved, but especially for her. So she had to return the favor in that way spiritually,” he mentioned.
He baywatch The director admitted that working with Foxx and Díaz was very special and recalled that the first time he met them was a “shitty moment.”
“[They were] totally finishing each other’s sentences… and seeing their chemistry and that energy together was really inspiring,” Gordon said.
For the unversed, the Masked actress and Django Unchained actor, who previously worked together in 1999 any sunday and the 2014 film annie, play CIA spies Emily and Matt in his last movie
