Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will not attend the Easter Sunday service, but a Palace source indicated they will be part of future royal events.
Although King Charles and Prince William may not agree with this decision, there is one member of the royal family who is delighted with the idea.
The York sisters have been going through a “tense period” by skipping one of the highlights of the royal year this week, according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, but there is a silver lining.
The expert told daily mail that Zara Tindall will be “especially happy” if Beatrice and Eugenie “return to real life sooner than expected.”
It is understood that the King loves his nieces and, unless further revelations emerge from Epstein’s files about them, they are fit to return.
“Under the relentless media spotlight with their disgraced parents, Beatrice and Eugenie have certainly been struggling,” Richard revealed, noting that Zara and her husband Mike have been “very supportive.”
He added: “He will miss them at the Easter service.”
Although Zara’s affection for her cousins is clear, if she had to choose, she would be “on the side” of Prince William.
“It should be noted that Zara and Mike’s first loyalty is to the institution of the monarchy and its future,” the expert said.
Zara and Mike are reportedly considered to be in William’s “inner circle” and have a responsibility to the firm.
