D’Angelo, who came into the match with a grudge after being betrayed by a friend at last year’s event, emerged from Stand & Deliver as the new NXT Champion.

Saints and Page came into the match aligned and tried to weaken Hendry as best they could to start. They gave him suplexes and shots to the chest to take him out. But the gap between the duo would grow as Page hit the Saints. But the Saints got their revenge later in the game.

D’Angelo spent the first few minutes outside the ring. Once he regained his composure, D’Angelo hit a spear and targeted Hendry before he was tossed to the outside of the ring. Page and Saints turned their attention to the former “Don of NXT.”

The teamwork would last a few moments before Hendry jumped over the ropes and defeated them both. For a split second, Hendry was in control. But the numbers game took over again midway through the game.

D’Angelo returned to the ring to face Hendry. It started to light up. Multiple German suplexes were dealt and it looked like D’Angelo was taking control of the match. He broke a standing ovation to hit Hendry with a spear. He then took Saints out of the ring and threw a second spear at Hendry.

With frustration mounting, the Saints wiped out D’Angelo with a chair shot. He also hit Hendry with a Revolution DDT on the chair. Saints was also going to hit Page with a chair, but Page made an exception. Their own rivalry increased a bit.

As Page led Saints to the stairs, he tried to cross the table. Out of nowhere, D’Angelo speared both men through the announce table. It came down to D’Angelo and Hendry.

D’Angelo hit the Dead to Rights and pinned Hendry to win the NXT Championship.
