Zendaya has strongly suggested that the upcoming third season of Euphoria It will be the final chapter of the show, and he told Drew Barrymore on his talk show that he thinks the new series will bring the story to an end.
When Barrymore asked if season three would be the last, Zendaya was candid.
“I think so, yes,” he said.
Barrymore pressed further, asking if viewers should approach it knowing an end is coming, and Zendaya echoed, “Yeah, I think so.”
He then offered four words that will resonate with the show’s devoted fans: “That closure is coming.”
HBO declined to comment on whether the series will end and came up with no official confirmation.
But the suggestion will not surprise those who have followed the program closely.
The four-year gap between seasons two and three, during which cast members like Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Colman Domingo have become some of the most sought-after names in Hollywood, has long fueled speculation that the end was near.
The new season marks a significant change in the story itself.
Because the first two seasons were set in high school, the third season will follow the characters into adulthood via a time jump.
The official motto sets a noticeably more reflective tone: “A group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil.”
Created, written and directed by Sam Levinson, Euphoria It has been one of the most talked about HBO series since its debut.
Levinson serves as executive producer alongside a great team that includes Drake and Ashley Levinson, among others.
third season of Euphoria premieres on HBO on April 12.
