- Reveals a great detail about Jessica Jones ahead of her debut on Disney+
- We are also given the first official look at The Punisher: One Last Death
A new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has been released and it includes two big things that will make Marvel fans very, very happy.
Revealed ahead of the show’s next episode, the midseason trailer, well, shows that all hell is about to break loose on the streets of New York. For that to happen, something has to give in the increasingly volatile battle between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk; So, don’t be surprised if a game-changing incident occurs in the upcoming fourth inning of this season.
Look
For the general public, no one knows what said big event might be.
Article continues below.
Will it involve Bullseye, who takes front and center in an extended look at the diner scene we briefly glimpsed in born again The first trailer for season 2? What happens to Karen Page behind bars after apparently being captured by the Anti-Vigilance Task Force? Or how about what will be another rage-filled showdown between the eponymous hero and Fisk?
It’s true that I’ve seen all eight episodes of born again season 2, so I know what’s coming. However, I’m not going to spoil anything story-wise here; instead, I’ll leave it to Marvel, who dropped what I would consider a pretty big spoiler in the latest trailer for the Disney+ series. So, be careful: Major spoilers immediately follow..
Wait, Jessica Jones is a mom on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

Yes, the new trailer for the Marvel Phase 6 TV show officially confirms it. Around the 1:04 mark of the teaser, Jones tells Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil’s civilian character, that someone “showed up at my house with my daughter there.”
The latest trailer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project doesn’t reveal her daughter’s name, but comic fans already know it’s Danielle. That’s also very significant: in the comics, Danielle Jones is the daughter of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, the latter of whom has yet to make his own debut in the MCU.
Rumors have been circulating for months that Mike Colter, who played Cage on Netflix’s Marvel-Verse, will reprise his role as the Steadfast Man of Harlem. And, following behind-the-scenes footage, which was shared online last weekend (April 4/5), Colter confirmed willpower return in born again season 3, we know that Cage will make his entry into the MCU in the Disney+ era in due time.
Of course, the big question you might want answered is: will Cage appear in born again Season 2 before it ends? I’m sorry, but my lips are sealed.
Let me show you something about The Punisher: One Last Kill

That’s not the only thing the latest trailer shows. Daredevil: Born AgainThe second season of is revealed. It also gives us our first official, albeit incredibly brief, look at The Punisher: One Last Death.
In fact, the last eight seconds of the trailer are dedicated to showing off The Punisher’s upcoming Disney+ TV special. We see a close-up of the antihero’s spray-painted bulletproof vest, complete with his iconic skull emblem, and then a shot of the main character pulling the trigger of a sawed-off shotgun pointed directly at the camera.
Like I said, it’s just a quick look at one last deathso there is very little we can deduce about its plot. One thing worth noting, however, is the name of the place The Punisher, aka Frank Castle, is standing in front of in the shotgun blast clip.
That will be Gnucci’s, which Marvel fans will instantly recognize as a reference to Ma Gnucci, the boss of a criminal enterprise with established ties to Castle in the comics. Like Colter’s Cage, there has been speculation online that Ma Gnucci would be one last deathhe’s been the main antagonist for a while now, so this almost confirms those rumors.
