Zendaya will always be grateful to spider man franchise for introducing him to his “love” and “best friend,” Tom Holland.
During an appearance at The Drew Barrymore Show On Monday, April 6, Euphoria The star took a walk down memory lane to her past projects, including Disney. Shake it Up, the greatest showmanand of course Spider-Man: Homecoming.
“A lot of things come to mind,” Zendaya said with a smile as an image of her in Spider-Man’s arms appeared on the screen.
the drama The actress noted how “crazy” it is to be part of the franchise she grew up watching. “Being part of them and the joy that that brings to people…” Zendaya said, before reflecting on what that brought to her own life.
“He brought love and my best friend into my life,” he gushed as he took another look at the photo of his early days.
Zendaya, 29, and Holland, also 29, met while filming the 2017 Marvel hit. After years of romance rumors, the couple confirmed their relationship in 2020. They got engaged in late 2024 and were rumored to have secretly tied the knot earlier this year.
Although the couple chooses not to confirm or deny the rumors for privacy reasons, fans will be able to see them share the screen once again. Spider-Man: New Day hits theaters July 31.
“I’m excited for you to see the next one,” Zendaya told Barrymore. “I’m already very proud of the work and I’m very proud of Tom. Next one, I’m impressed.”
